A Night of Hope: Capturing Breakthroughs in Baton Rouge

Did you know there may be a cure for Type 1 Diabetes closer than we ever imagined?

I didn’t either—until I had the opportunity to photograph an incredible evening right here in Baton Rouge. One of the most powerful moments of the night came from hearing Katie share her story. She was the first person to receive a groundbreaking treatment in Chicago—and today, after a Type 1 diagnosis, she no longer requires insulin.
